Over the past 20 plus years I have worked with dads and kids in schools and Head Starts in over 40 states in the US and in four other countries (in person and online).
I have spent these last 20 years studying and developing ways to better connect fathers to their children and their education.
Strong Fathers-Strong Families, LLC is going into its 20th school year and we have proven curricula for early childhood programs, elementary schools, secondary schools, and social services. We are presently working on a program to help dads better support mom to choose and implement breastfeeding with their newborns.

Mike can talk about the research and practical experience around how dads work or how they should. He can explain how kids respond well to strong fathers or how strong fathers are good for mothers. Using research, family models, and lots of experience, Mike can discuss the roles that fathers and mothers play in their families and within the culture. He can also discuss how politics, policies, and programs can all be detrimental to kids and communities.
From light hearted topics of fatherhood stereotypes to serious discussions about present day controversies around culture wars and current events, Mike can put fathers and families in perspective.
