We Return to Reno Elementary for Another Great Event

DSCF6155

We have been at Reno Elementary for so long that the students that were there when we started are almost finished with college! However, some of the dads are still coming back with younger kids. It is always great to be at a school just around the corner from the family farm. Thanks to all of the dads that came out and spent time with your kids in class and even put up with me for another round.

Goshen Creek Elementary had a full house as dads ate breakfast, visited classes, and met to discuss the importance of dads in the lives and education of the kids. We celebrate over ten years at Springtown Elementary

I have been fortunate enough to have worked with Springtown Elementary for more than ten years now. I was actually working with Springtown ISD before I moved back to my hometown and one of the reasons our family moved back was because of the schools here. We are proud to be Porcupines and proud to be a part of such a great school. As well, one of the fathers who attended was one of my students when I was a principal. Talk about making you feel old!

We had a good crowd of dads and some have been there almost ten years with all of their kid.  Thanks to all the dads that continue to make these programs work!

Wow!  We had a fantastic Bring Your Dad To School Day at Springtown’s new Goshen Creek Elementary.  You guys sure know how to get a new school started off on the right foot!  About 170 Dads showed up and a few Moms, too–for a total of 195!  It was a great day and great things are happening for the students of Goshen Creek.  A special thanks to Principal, Mr. Thomas and Family Liaison, Ms. Roni Smith…and thanks to all the great Dads that attended to support their kids and their school!

A Great Start to A New School Year

We have had a busy weekend as we prepared to get school started. We had a great morning on Saturday at Haltom High School with dads and kids (or students, or young people, or heathens, whichever fits).
