Super Science Night at Christie Elementary

Dads plus Kids…and throw in a few Moms–it’s a formula for for a super night of science and fun! Christie Elementary in Plano was the place to be! The cafeteria was full and the rockets were flying…and a couple of them are still stuck up on the light fixtures. A special thanks to Ms. Crouch and Ms. Rodriguez for hosting a great group of Dads, Moms, and Students. Way to go Christie Elementary!

Dads and Kids Show up for Science Night @ Sigler Elementary and take home science tools and knowledge

Sigler Elementary hosted a Strong Fathers-Strong Families Dad and Kid Science Night. There was a great crowd and we had great fun. Even the principal got involved! Thanks to Mr. Arend and Ms. Ordoñez for hosting a great event. Not only did the dads and kids get to take home all of their science activities they also all received a brand new air rocket to use at home as well. We are looking forward to mat night at Sigler coming up in the Spring semester.

A Hot Time on a Cold Science Night at Barron Elementary

We had a full cafeteria for a science night at Barron Elementary on a very cold night (for Plano, TX). Special thanks to the PTA for the coffee and hot chocolate and a big THANK YOU to the National Honor Society Students from Plano Senior High for being such a great help.

Forman Fills Up with Fathers!

The Forman Fathers came out in force for the Bring Your Dad to School Day at Forman Elementary. Principal Tramy Tran fed all of the dads and they got to see all of the great things that go on in class at Forman Elementary. After their visit the parents all attended a workshop about the value and strength of involved fathers. The Forman families always do a great job of supporting their kids, their teachers, and their school. Looking forward to a couple more programs at Forman later in the year.

Math Night at Meadows Pits Kids Vs. Dads in Some Fun Learning

Meadows Elementary families always like to come out to Strong Father events and they always like to have a good time. We love working with families that want to have fun with their child while they are trying to teach them. There was a lot of fun and learning going on at Meadows Elementary Dad and Kid Math Night.

Christie Math Night has the kids beating the dads (in math games!)

There was some serious competition going on at Christie Elementary for Dad and Kid Math Night. The kids were very determined to make sure that they were going to try to win as many games as possible. They also had to make sure that their dads were not cheating! Sometimes they are pretty good at that!

We are fortunate to work with Head Start programs all over the nation. One of the best programs with whom we have ever worked is in Plano ISD. We always have a great time with great families and VERY CUTE KIDS!

Rasor Elementary Dad and Kid Reading Night

Wow! What a great Reading Night at Rasor Elementary in Plano. We had a super group of Kids and Dads…and Moms. Even though some Dads thought they needed a chiropractor after that second book, we all had a blast. A big thanks to Principal Pruett and Assistant Principal Bonner for hosting us. As always, Christie has a great crowd show up for Bring Your Dad to School Day.

Christie Elementary does a great job of getting the dads out and getting them through all of the hoops to allow them to visit their child’s classroom. Thanks to so many dads that took the time to learn more about your child and your child’s school. I am always impressed how the Christie dads not only attend but participate. Looking forward to math and science programs on campus later this year.

Carpenter Middle School Puts the Fathers in the Middle of Class

Many parents seem afraid to enter a Middle School campus. Sometimes with good reason! However, the brave fathers at Carpenter found out that CMS is a great place to visit and great place for their kids to learn. It is also a great place for fathers to get involved.
