Super Science Night at Christie Elementary

Dads plus Kids…and throw in a few Moms–it’s a formula for for a super night of science and fun! Christie Elementary in Plano was the place to be! The cafeteria was full and the rockets were flying…and a couple of them are still stuck up on the light fixtures. A special thanks to Ms. Crouch and Ms. Rodriguez for hosting a great group of Dads, Moms, and Students. Way to go Christie Elementary!

Dads and Kids Show up for Science Night @ Sigler Elementary and take home science tools and knowledge

Sigler Elementary hosted a Strong Fathers-Strong Families Dad and Kid Science Night. There was a great crowd and we had great fun. Even the principal got involved! Thanks to Mr. Arend and Ms. Ordoñez for hosting a great event. Not only did the dads and kids get to take home all of their science activities they also all received a brand new air rocket to use at home as well. We are looking forward to mat night at Sigler coming up in the Spring semester.

A Hot Time on a Cold Science Night at Barron Elementary

We had a full cafeteria for a science night at Barron Elementary on a very cold night (for Plano, TX). Special thanks to the PTA for the coffee and hot chocolate and a big THANK YOU to the National Honor Society Students from Plano Senior High for being such a great help.

Having a Blast at Hardin Science Night

The cafeteria was full of young scientist and old mad dad scientist as well. There were planes, rockets, and parachutes and even explosions! Thanks to the great staff at Hardin Intermediate for all of the help and participation. Great kids and great families at an awesome school.

Carpenter MS Science Night

We had a good crowd of middle school students and their parents at Carpenter Middle School. It was just the right size crowd for a lot of fun and a good bit of innovation. Middle School kids and Middle School dads made the cafeteria look like Edison’s laboratory and built some really cool parachutes, airplanes, and rockets.

We had a great crowd of families at Woodridge Elementary for Dad and Kid Science night. We even had a dad who had CUT OFF some of his fingers just the day before. Goes to show you that dads will come out for their kids even after being sewn back together!

Science Night at The Meadows Elementary (DeSoto)

We had a great time at the Dad and Kid Science Night at The Meadows Elementary in DeSoto.  I think the days off from the icy weather caused us to have a smaller crowd than usual.  But it was still a good night for Dads and Moms and Kids to be together doing science activities.  Thanks to Ms. Angeles and the staff at The Meadows for their great support.  Keep up the great work in DeSoto! Amber Terrace Science

It was a good night of Bernoulli, rocket launching and cannister blowups!  Thanks to Winston, Darren and Tammie for the help with set up and breakdown.  And hats off to the hard-core Dads who braved the cold to create warm memories with their kids.  Good work!

Big Science Night at Rasor Elementary

Wow!  There was a great crowd at the Rasor Elementary Dad and Kid Science Night.  We pulled out some extra tables and had a great time.  Thanks to all the Dads and Moms…and Grandparents and Mentors…for bringing your students for a great night of doing science projects together.  A special thanks to Principal Pruett and Ms. Cunningham for their leadership and support.  Hey Dads (and Moms!), you’re doing a great job in Plano!
