We had a super time at The Meadows Elementary Dad and Kid Math Night. It was great to see all the Dads and Moms enjoying math games with their children (and enjoying a great plate of spaghetti!). Thanks to Ms. Angeles and all the staff for their support. And thanks to all the parents and kids for making The Meadows a great school in DeSoto, TX!
Amber Terrace knows how to have fun with their math! It was great to see all of the smiles and the number-filled scratch papers! The Amber Terrace Dads did a good job!

Had a great turnout for our Friday morning event at Ruby Young Elementary. We have always had a great crowd there and the staff does a great job. Congrats to the PTA for being there and thanks to the dads that signed up for PTA! We need more dads in PTA!
I was impressed at DeSoto East! A group of almost 80 Strong Fathers spent time with their kids and then jumped into a great discussion time. Thanks to Mrs. Blackburn, Mrs. Briggs and Mr. Price for teaming up with Strong Fathers to see this day be successful. We are looking forward to more good things at DeSoto East!
It was an invigorating morning with the Dads at Moates Elementary. We were welcomed with a big banner that crossed the stage curtain. I wish I had taken a picture of it! We had more people than seats for breakfast, but the Dads were cool about it and some headed to class early to make room for the guys behind them. It was a great day! Thanks to Mr. Pittman and Mr. Miller for welcoming Dads with coffee and to Mrs. Young for translating. You are a great team!
We had a great day at Cockrell Hill Elementary! There were over 120 Dads and 60+ Moms–the cafeteria was packed! Thanks to Ms. Randall, all the school staff, and the fabulous parents!
It is a great feeling to see a cafeteria crowded with Dads! Mr. Ward did a great job of facilitating the flow of 150+ parents as they spent time in the cafeteria, in the classrooms . . . and even as they threw rubber chickens around the room! It was a wonderful day!
