Mighty Math Night at AWB

We had a mighty big crowd at the Academy at West Birdville. These families have meant a lot to me over the years. This is our 8th year to be at AWB and some of the kids you will see in these pictures did not exist when we first started there. Their older siblings were in elementary when we started and now they are a part of the legacy of Strong Families at this great school. We always have a big crowd, we always have strong families, and we always have FUN! (Sometimes we even learn stuff!)

It is great to BACK at Binion

When Strong Fathers-Strong Families, LLC started we had the opportunity to work with several schools in Birdville ISD’s SCORES after school program. It actually helped us get a good start in our second year. Binion Elementary was one of the schools with whom we had worked. Now that Binion is a part of the ASPIRE after school program, we are proud to be working with this great school again.

The Academy at West Birdville was lining up the dads!

Strong Fathers-Strong Families has a long history at the Academy at West Birdville and we always have the families come out in great support for any and all programs. Our Bring Your Dad to School program was no exception. We had over 240 dads and moms show up for a great morning. We are making great plans for families at AWB and cannot wait until October for the Extreme Home Makeovers in the AWB neighborhoods with Northwood Church. There are great partnerships and relationships being built at AWB. With dads and kids, with families and the school, and with partners, schools and the community.

Book Fair+Strong Fathers=Fun for Kids, Fathers, and Families

We had a great night at WATAUGA ELEMENTARY with a Dad and Kid Reading Night and a night of the Book Fair. Getting Dads into the Middle (School)

We had a great morning at Haltom Middle School with a Bring Your Dad to School Day at HMS. Dads came in for breakfast, then they visited class, and then we had a great discussion about the importance of father involvement during those “Blessed” (or blasted?) Middle School years. Great dads raising great kids.
