Staff Development in Father/Family Involvement for Early Childhood and Public School Environments

Primary Awareness Training
(half-day for all staff members)

Staff members learn the importance of including fathers in their work with children. Presentation includes research regarding the impact of father involvement on program and child outcomes.

Local Program Planning and Implementation
(half or full day for directors, family support staff)

Participants work together to develop annual plans and events for improving appropriate, effective father involvement in your programs. Includes on-site program follow-up and ongoing e-mail and phone consultation.

Finding the Strengths in Struggling Families
(half or full day for classroom teachers)

Participants learn how to better understand and work with families from all cultural and economic backgrounds to positively impact student outcomes. Present school demographics, resources and campus plans are utilized for each campus. ( also available as a set of workshops )
